ANNAPOLIS, Md.—The Hobart and William Smith sailing team finished 11th out of 18 teams in the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Coed Dinghy Championships hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy. The College of Charleston was nine points better than Dartmouth to retain the Henry A. Morse Trophy.

Senior skipper Trevor Moore (Woodstock Union/Pomfret, Vt.) and senior crew Amanda Markee (Torrey Pines/Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) enjoyed an outstanding regatta, finishing second in the A Division. They turned in 14 top-10 finishes in the 18-race regatta, winning the final race of their collegiate careers. They posted a score of 111, better than all but the Cougar's 75.

HWS's results in the B Division cost the team the chance to contend for the title. The Colleges used four different sailors in the boat but managed just three top-10 finishes, none better than a solitary fifth place, and had to settle for 15th place in the division.

The ICSA Coed Dinghy Championship wrapped up the 2006-07 Collegiate sailing season.
