William Smith 10th at Dellenbaugh Women's Trophy

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--The William Smith sailing team finished 10th at the Dellenbaugh Women's Trophy at Brown University this weekend. On the first day of competition, 10 races were sailed in the A Division and eight in the B Division on Gold Cup, Olympic, and Triangle courses, in 8-15 knot southwestly wind. The following day six races took place in the A Division and eight races in the B Division in winds shifting from 2-10 knots west-by-northwest to 8-12 knot southerly winds. Senior Sarah Angell and junior Sonya Smith finished eighth in the A Division with 132 points. Junior Amanda Callahan and first-year Kate Kana also finished eighth in the B Division with a score of 128.
