Just a few weeks later, the native of Shelburne, Vt., posted a strong showing at the Knickerbocker Cup, outracing four other internationally ranked competitors from around the world for a fourth place finish. Generally considered the sports highest individual honor in the United States, the award recognizes outstanding on-the-water achievements throughout the year. The winners will be honored at the New York Yacht Club on Feb. 6. |
