HWS Sailing victorious at Cornell Fall Open

ITHACA, N.Y.--The Hobart and William Smith sailing team captured first place in the A division and second place in the B division, enroute to a victory at the Cornell Fall Open. HWS posted a final score of 36, fighting off both Fordham University and New York Maritime for top honors.
Leading the way for the sailing team in the A division were sophomore Lee Sacket (Gilmour Academy/Mentor,Ohio) and first-year Robert Aspinwall (Tabor Academy/Darien,Conn.). Sophomores Emily Barkow (University Lake School/Nashotah,Wis.) and Kate May (Cranston East/Cranston, R.I.) competed in the B division for HWS.
