HWS 7th at Kings Point Spring Open
March 31, 2002
KINGS POINT, N.Y.--The Hobart and William Smith sailing team finished seventh in at the Kings Point Spring Open this weekend. On the first day of competition 10 races were sailed in both the A and B divisions. Three more races were sailed in each division on the second day to complete the competition. The courses were modified triangles. Finishing fifth in the A division with 81 points were junior Peter Blain and first-year Kate May. Junior Bobby Storck and first-year Emilie Barkow finished seventh in the B division with a score of 96.
