ANANPOLIS, Md.--Hobart College sailors junior John Pearce (Ithaca/Ithaca, N.Y.) and sophomore John Storck (St. Anthony's/Huntington, N.Y.) finished in the top four at the Navy Laser Open this weekend. Pearce finished second and Storck took home fourth place, earning both sailors a berth in the Mid-Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA) Singlehanded Championships, Oct. 12-13, at Navy.

Sophomore Wiley Wakeman (Groton School/Cohasset, Mass.) narrowly missed joining his teammates at the MAISA Singlehanded Championships, finishing eighth, two spots away from the final qualifying position.
