Hobart sailors second at Pine Trophy

NEW LONDON, Conn.—The Hobart College sailing team finished second at the Pine Trophy regatta this past weekend at the Coast Guard Academy. Kings Point garnered the first spot with a low score of 30, just five points ahead of the Statesmen in the 10-team event.

Senior Jeff Sullivan (McQuaid/Rochester, N.Y.), junior John Storck (St. Anthony’s/Huntington, N.Y.), and sophomore Zack Goldman (Lutheran/Huntington, N.Y.) competed for Hobart, racing their way to first place three times, garnering a total of seven top-five finishes in 10 races.
