HWS 8th at St. Mary's Team Race Intersectional

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md.-- The Hobart and William Smith sailing team finished eighth at the St. Mary's Team Race Intersectional this weekend. On the first day of competition 45 races were sailed in an 8-12 knot south-easterly wind using a 10-team single round robin format. On the second day of competition 36 races took place in a 10-20 knot north-westerly wind. The top-10 teams sailed a double round robin, while the four teams in the consolation division sailed a single round robin.
