Herons compete in Yale Women’s Intersectional

NEW HAVEN, Conn.--The William Smith sailing team competed with 18 other teams in the Yale Women's Intersectional over the weekend. The Herons finished in 10th place with a score of 215. The host Bulldogs cruised to victory with a regatta low score of 53.

In the A division, senior Mora O’Malley(Totino Grace/Dellwood, Minn.) and junior Kate May(Cranston East/Cranston, R.I.) recorded a score of 98 to finish 11th, while senior Alexis Rubin (Edmund Burke/Potomac Md.) and junior Kate Kana (Gunston School/Easton, Md.) took to the water in the B division and recorded a score of 117 to finish 13th.
