The National Bank of Geneva has been part of the Geneva community since its founding in 1817, and it now operates 12 branch offices throughout the Finger Lakes Region. As a subsidiary of Financial Institutions, Inc., (FII) a $2.2 billion bank holding company, NBG provides a wide range of consumer and commercial banking services to individuals, municipalities, and businesses through a total FII network of 49 offices and 71 ATMs in Upstate New York. NBG has an ATM in the Scandling Center on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. NBG President and CEO Randy Brown commented, We are very happy to have the opportunity to team up with Hobart College Athletics and the SAA. Commitment to the communities we serve has always been an important value at the bank, and we are excited to be able to further that commitment through this partnership. Since 1971 the SAA has been the support organization of Hobart College Athletics. Its membership is comprised of over 1,000 alumni, parents, friends, and corporate partners. Mike Hanna, the SAAs Executive Director and Hobarts Director of Athletics since 1981 had this to say about the partnership which takes effect on June 1: NBG and the SAA share a commitment to the community of Geneva and the Finger Lakes Region. This partnership is exciting for both parties; NBGs generous teamwork will go a long way to ensure that we can sustain our commitment to a first class athletics program at the College. From life skills programs for our student-athletes to quality athletics facilities, we are looking forward to working with the leaders of NBG and are most grateful for their commitment. NBG joins Geneva Club Beverage/Pepsi as one of two Title Corporate Partners of the SAA. NBG will be formally introduced and welcomed to the family of Hobart College Athletics during the Hobart vs. Cornell lacrosse game at McCooey Field on Friday, May 7. This game will be the 121st meeting of these two storied programs, both of which are nationally ranked in the latest Division I mens lacrosse polls.
