GENEVA, N.Y.—The start time for the William Smith basketball season opener has been changed from an afternoon to night game. The Herons will open the 2004-05 season against Keuka College on Nov. 20 in Bristol Gym.

The Herons will tip things off against the Storm at 6 p.m. The game will serve as the head coaching debut of Olympia Scott-Richardson. William Smith’s interim head coach will mentor more players without collegiate playing experience (8) than those with (6) this year.

Junior guard Pria Young (Council Rock/Richboro, Pa.) is the team’s top returning scorer. She averaged 9.3 ppg in 2003-04.

William Smith is looking to build on a 13-13 overall record, including an 8-6 mark in the Liberty League.
