MacCuaig named Liberty League Rookie of the Week

GENEVA, N.Y.—William Smith first-year Morgan MacCuaig (Rutland/Mendon, Vt.) was named the Liberty League Women’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week. MacCuaig was the third Heron across the finish line, covering the 6k Ronald C. Hoffman Pre-Regional course in 27:10 and finishing 105th in the 184 runner field.
The William Smith cross country team returns to action at noon on Oct. 2, when the Herons travel to Vassar College for the 2004 Liberty League Championships.
