Heron runners earn academic honors

GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College cross country team recently saw three of its runners named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team. To earn a spot on the Liberty League All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2, and be at least a sophomore academically. The following harriers were named All-Academic:
• Sophomore Kathryn Lawton (G. Ray Bodley/Fulton, N.Y.)*
• Sophomore Paige Myers (Massena/Massena, N.Y.)*
• Senior Leanne Roncolato (Meadville/Meadville, Pa.), economics major
* William Smith College students are not required to declare a major until the second semester of their sophomore year.
