Herons take fourth place at Houghton Invitational

HOUGHTON, N.Y.—The William Smith cross country team registered a fourth-place team finish at the Houghton Invitational today.
Senior Leanne Roncolato (Meadville/Meadville, Pa.) led the Herons, finishing 23rd out of 67 runners and completing the 5k course in a time of 21:16. Junior Morgan MacCuaig (Rutland/Mendon, Vt.) finished 32nd, while first-year Liz Mills (Tully/Lafayette, N.Y.) took the 36th spot for William Smith.
The Herons will return to action on Sept. 30 at the Liberty League Championships, starting at 1 p.m.
