Mills earns Liberty League Award

GENEVA, N.Y.—William Smith first-year Liz Mills (Tully/Lafayette, N.Y.) was named the Liberty League Women’s Cross Country Co-Rookie of the Week this afternoon.
Mills registered an eighth-place finish for the Herons in the Cross Country Only Conference Championships on Saturday, helping William Smith take first place. She was the third Heron to cross the finish line, completing the 5-kilometer course in a time of 21:11.
The Herons will return to action on Nov. 4 when they travel to Williamtown, Mass., for the ECAC Championships, starting at noon.
