Herons 14th at ECAC Championships

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.-- William Smith College junior Amy Young (Hugh C. Williams/Canton, N.Y.) helped the Herons to a 14th place finish in the 33-team field at the ECAC Championships in Williamstown, Mass. Young finished third with a 5k time of 19:03.
First-year Molly Rider (Concord/Concord, N.H.) was the next Heron finisher, running time of 20:43. First-year Jennifer Davenport (G. Ray Bodley/Fulton, N.Y.) was next with a time of 22:17. Senior Kerry Gannaway (Moses Brown/Providence, R.I.) followed Davenport finishing in 22:46. First-year Breanna Greene (Hugh C. Williams/Canton, N.Y.) and senior Kelly Hutchinson (Lawrenceville School/Jobstown N.J.) rounded out the group, with times of 22:50 and 23:01, respectively.
The Herons are back in action on Nov. 10, when they travel to New York
City for the NCAA Regional Championship.
