GENEVA, N.Y.—William Smith College sophomore Nikki Dudley (Chittenango/Canastota, N.Y.) and first-year Brittany Warren (Liverpool/Syracuse, N.Y.) were named the Liberty League Soccer Co-Defensive Performer of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively. They helped the Herons post a 2-0 record this past week.

Dudley made a combined nine saves and posted two shutouts as the Herons blanked RIT and Nazareth. Against the Tigers, Dudley pulled in four stops in the 3-0 win for the Herons. Four days later, she helped William Smith shut down Nazareth 2-0, making five saves. She ranks second in the League in both goals against average (0.36) and shutouts (8), while her .909 save percentage is third best.

Warren led the Heron offense this past week with a pair of goals, including the game-winner against Nazareth. On Tuesday against RIT, Warren notched her first collegiate goal. Making just her second start of the year four days later, she found the back of the net 2:47 into the game to score what proved to be the game-winner in the win over Nazareth.

William Smith is 9-2-2 overall and will close out Liberty League play this coming weekend. The Herons will travel to Clarkson on Oct. 22, for a 4 p.m., match and will take on St. Lawrence the following afternoon at 2 p.m.
