Senior midfielder Steph Gridley (Auburn/Auburn, N.Y.) netted the game-winner in the 15th minute. Junior goalkeeper Nikki Dudley (Chittenango/Chittenango, N.Y.) made five stops to earn her 12th win of the season.

The following afternoon, Burnett-Kurie registered five more points as the Herons’ clinched the top-seed in the Liberty League Tournament with a 3-0 road victory over Rensselaer. Dudley turned away a pair of Red Hawks offerings to record her Division III leading 13th shutout.
