GENEVA, N.Y.—William Smith College first-year Brittany Warren (Liverpool/Liverpool, N.Y.) was named the Liberty League Soccer Rookie of the Week for the third consecutive week early this afternoon.

Warren tallied the game-winner in the Herons’ 2-1 victory over Ithaca this past weekend. Since making her first collegiate start on Oct. 12, against RIT, Warren has scored four goals and added two assists, including a four-point outburst against Clarkson. She is second on the team in both goals (4) and points (10).

William Smith returns to action on Nov. 5, in the Liberty League Semifinal hosted by top seed Hamilton College. Earning the third seed the Herons will take on second-seeded and 15th-ranked Union College at 1:30 p.m. The winner advances to the championship game on Nov. 6, at 1 p.m., for the conference title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
