Stankavage honored by Liberty League

GENEVA, N.Y.—William Smith junior Tracy Stankavage (Chittenango/Chittenango, N.Y.) was named the Liberty League Women’s Soccer Co-Defensive Performer of the Week today.
A defender, Stankavage anchored a strong unit that recorded two shutouts last week and allowed just one shot on goal in two games. She also tallied an assist to help lead the Herons past RPI. After defeating Vassar 2-0, and RPI 3-0, William Smith stands at 5-3-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the Liberty League.
The Herons’ next game will take place on Sept. 30 when they host Hamilton for a conference match at 2 p.m.
