Dudley earns Rookie of the Week honors

GENEVA, N.Y.—William Smith College goalkeeper Nikki Dudley (Chittenango/Conastota, N.Y.) was named the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.
Dudley continued her impressive performance in goal this past weekend, making five saves to lead the Herons to a 2-1 overtime victory over conference rival Hamilton College. Sacrificing only a penalty kick goal against the Continentals, the rookie’s 0.75 goals against average is second in the conference, while her .829 save percentage is third.
Moving up to fifth in this week’s NSCAA New York Regional Rankings, William Smith (6-2-1, 3-0 UCAA) will kick off against Clarkson University on Oct. 10, at 4 p.m., on Cozzens Field.
