Dudley collects UCAA weekly honor again

GENEVA, N.Y.—The Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association recently named William Smith College goalie Nikki Dudley (Chittenango/Conastota, N.Y.) its women’s soccer Rookie of the Week. This marks the third consecutive week she has been awarded a weekly honor by the UCAA.
Dudley pulled in 10 saves, giving up just one goal in 200 minutes of action this past week. She made eight stops in a scoreless tie with the 24th-ranked University of Rochester for her league-leading third shutout of the season and increased her shutout streak to 401:25 before sacrificing a goal to Ithaca in the Herons’ 1-0 loss. For the week Dudley posted a 0.45 goals against average and .909 save percentage.
The Herons are 3-2-1 overall and return to action on Sept. 26, when they open their UCAA slate at Rensselaer at 4 p.m.
