GENEVA, N.Y.—Two members of the William Smith College squash team earned recognition from the Liberty League office this afternoon. Junior Katie Hendricks (The Shipley School/Haverford, Pa.) and first-year Lori Stump (Shady Side Academy/Pittsburgh, Pa.) were selected the Liberty League Performer of the Week and Liberty League Rookie of the Week, respectively.

In her lone match of the week, Hendricks opened the season at No. 1 with a 9-2, 9-0, 9-2 victory over Jess Winicki of Colgate. Stump overpowered Jenny Dorland of Colgate from the fourth spot in her Heron debut 9-1, 9-0, 9-2. William Smith breezed past the Raiders, 9-0.

The Herons return to action on Nov. 19 when they travel to St. Lawrence to defend their title at the Liberty League Championships.
