SOUTH HADLEY, MASS.—The William Smith College squash team halted a four-game losing streak with an 8-1 victory over Wellesley this afternoon in the finale of the Mount Holyoke Tournament.

First-year Lori Stump (Shady Side Academy/Pittsburgh, Pa.), senior Kinsey Cruice (The Lawrenceville School), first-year Katie Compton (The Loomis Chaffee School/West Hartford, Conn.), sophomore Maddie Brooks (Westminster School/New Canaan, Conn.), first-year Katie Baker (Westminster School/Oyster Bay), senior Lee Lee Robinson (St. Paul’s School/East Norwich, N.Y.), and senior Augusta Nadler (Tabor Academy/Marion, Mass.) all cruised to 3-0 wins, while sophomore Emily Gailun (Westminster School/Longmeadow, Mass.) was victorious 3-1.

William Smith returns to action at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 4, when the Herons travel to Cornell.
