Herons fly past Toronto, Hamilton

GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College squash team earned a pair of victories on Sunday to surpass its wins total from a year ago and improve to 9-2 on the season. The Herons breezed past University of Toronto and Hamilton College with matching 6-3 scores at the Dr. Frank P. Smith ’36 Squash Center.
Double winners for William Smith included sophomore Shaila Pandole (Jai Hind College/Mumbai, India), junior Kinsey Cruice (The Lawrenceville School/Darien, Conn.), first-year Maddie Brooks (Westminster School/New Canaan, Conn.), and junior Shelley Ryan (Portsmouth Abbey School/Allamunchy, N.J.).
The 13th-ranked Herons return to action on Jan. 29-30, traveling to the Mt. Holyoke Tournament.
