GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College squash team pushed its win streak to seven games with a dominating 9-0 victory over Colgate this afternoon at the Dr. Frank P. Smith ’36 Squash Center. The 14th-ranked Herons improve to 14-2 overall, the most wins in the program’s seven seasons.

William Smith did not drop a single game to the Raiders, winning all nine matches 3-0. First-year Emily Gailun (Westminster School/Longmeadow, Mass.) turned in an impressive performance at No. 7, dispatching her opponent 3-0 (9-0, 9-0, 9-1). Senior Sarah Coffin (St. George’s School/Bryn Mawr, Pa.) was also outstanding, earning her 13th win of the year with a 3-0 (9-0, 9-1, 9-1) victory at the No. 3 spot.

The Herons will put their seven-game win streak on the line again on Feb. 10, when 10th-ranked Cornell visits the Smith Squash Center at 7 p.m.
