William Smith squash falls to No. 8 Williams

GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College squash team suffered just its second loss of the season this evening, falling to eighth-ranked Williams College, 9-0, in the Herons’ home opener at the Dr. Frank P. Smith ’36 Squash Center.
Junior Kinsey Cruice (The Lawrenceville School/Darien, Conn.) captured one game, losing 3-1 (2-9, 9-6, 1-9, 2-9) at No. 4.
The 2004 Liberty League Champions, 13th-ranked William Smith is just one win shy of matching its wins total from the 2003-04 season. The Herons return to action again on Jan. 22, hosting top-ranked and defending national champion Yale University at 5 p.m.
