GENEVA, N.Y.—Two William Smith squash players have earned a place in the 32-player field of the Holleran Cup, the second division draw of the College Squash Association Individual Championships. Junior Sarah Coffin (St. George’s School (R.I.)/ Bryn Mawr, Pa.) and first-year Shaila Pandole (Jai Hind College/Mumbai, India) will represent the Herons in the competition, which begins tomorrow and runs through March 7, at St. Lawrence University.

Pandole is scheduled to take the court first, facing Avery Eyre of Dartmouth College at 9:40 a.m., March 5. Pandole is 9-5 in her first season with the Herons, playing in the top two spots in the order. She was named the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association Rookie of the Week three times.

Coffin compiled a 10-4 record this season, playing in the second and third spots in the Heron lineup. She is making her first appearance in the CSA Individual Championships, but carries with her an impressive 36-14 (.720) career record. Coffin will take the court at 10:20 a.m., against third-seeded Frances McNeely of Franklin & Marshall College. William Smith defeated the Diplomats 8-1 on Jan. 31, but McNeely posted the lone victory for F&M, besting Pandole 3-0.

The Herons finished the season with an 8-6 record. William Smith went 2-1 in the Walker Cup, taking third place, 19th overall in the CSA Team Championships, March 20-22.
