Heron first-years capture UCAA squash honors

GENEVA, N.Y.--William Smith first-years Katie Hendricks (The Shippley School/Haverford, Pa.) and Shaila Pandole (Jai Mind College/Mumbai, India) were named the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association Performer and Rookie of the Week, respectively, this afternoon.
In a 6-3 season opening victory over Colgate, Hendricks made her Heron debut in the top position and produced a 9-6, 9-1, 9-4 victory, while Pandole debuted in the No. 2 position and produced a 9-5, 9-0, 9-3 win.
William Smith is back in action on Nov. 22-23, in the inagural UCAA Championship at St. Lawrence University.
