GENEVA, N.Y.—William Smith College junior diver Sarah Costanza (Gwynedd-Mercy/Ambler, Pa.) was named the Liberty League Diver of the Week by the conference office. Costanza won three out of four diving events she entered last week and finished second in the fourth, as she posted three NCAA qualifying scorers.

On Saturday in the Rensselaer Invitational, she won the 1-meter event by more than 15 points with another NCAA qualifying score (268.75) and finished second on the 3-meter board with an NCAA score of 262.7.
The two-time defending Liberty League champion on the 1-meter board, Costanza owns the William Smith records for six dives on the 1- and 3-meter boards and the school record for 11 dives on the 3-meter board.
The William Smith swimming and diving team is back in action at 7 p.m., on Jan. 26, when the University of Rochester Yellowjackets visit Bristol Pool.
