Herons place 2nd in Skidmore Sprint Invite

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.--The William Smith swimming and diving team finished second out of three teams at the Skidmore Sprint Invitational.
Senior diver Sarah Costanza (Gwynedd Mercy/Ambler, Pa.) won both the 1-meter and 3-meter events, posting an NCAA Championship qualifying score on the latter (261.8).
Junior Charlotte McIntosh (Blair Academy/Reading, Pa.) was victorious in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:06.03. She also swam a leg on the winning 200 free relay (1:45.68) along with senior Kate Feller (Avon/Avon, N.Y.), sophomore Meghan Mosher (Livonia/Conesus, N.Y.), and first-year Lynn Cutter (St. Gertrude/Richmond, Va.).
William Smith is back in action Feb. 15-18, in the New York State Women’s Collegiate Athletic Association Championships in Syracuse.
