ROCHESTER, N.Y.—William Smith senior diver Sarah Costanza (Gwynedd-Mercy/Ambler, Pa.) has competed in five meets this season and has produced an NCAA Championship qualifying score on the 1-meter board all five times. Her latest success came at RIT where she posted a winning score of 256.25 and later won the 3-meter competition with a score of 221.95.
The Herons’ also got a first place finish from junior Charlotte McIntosh (Blair Academy/Reading, Pa.). She won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:39.53, more than 14 seconds ahead of the runner up.
The Tigers, who captured first place in 10 of the evening’s 13 events, won the meet 139-103.
William Smith returns to action at noon on Jan. 21, when the Herons participate in the Rensselaer Invitational.
