Herons begin NYSWCAA Championships

GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College swimming and diving team began competing in the New York State Women’s Collegiate Athletic Association Championships yesterday. The competition will continue through Feb. 17th at Nottingham High School in Syracuse.

After day one, the Herons are in 13th place. William Smith junior Megan Mosher (Livonia/Livonia, N.Y.), senior Charlotte McIntosh (Blair Academy/Reading, Pa.), first-year Charlotte Scott (Columbia/Maplewood, N.J.), and sophomore Lynn Cutter (St. Gertrude/Richmond, Va.) teamed up to take eighth place in the 200-yard freestyle relay, recording a time of 1:42.16. Also the top Heron finisher in the 50 free, Cutter placed 14th with a time of 25.66.
