Herons climb to 11th at NYSWCAA Championships

SYRACUSE, N.Y.—The William Smith College swimming and diving team climbed two spots to No. 11 after day two of the three-day NYSWCAA Championships.

The Herons finished eighth in the 200-yard medley relay. Seniors Charlotte McIntosh (Blair Academy/Reading, Pa.) and Meghan Mosher (Livonia/Livonia, N.Y.), first-year Laura Patterson (Annapolis/Annapolis, Md.), and sophomore Lynn Cutter (St. Gertrude/Richmond, Va.) combined for a time of 1:56.09. McIntosh also placed 12th in the 200 free (2:01.36), while Patterson took 14th in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.24).

First-year Jessica Cook (New Paltz/New Paltz, N.Y.) finished 13th in the 100 back with a time of 1:04.11. McIntosh followed, taking 16th with a time of 1:04.73.
