Costanza named UCAA Diver of the Week

GENEVA, N.Y.—William Smith College first-year Sarah Costanza (Gwynedd Mercy/Ambler, Pa.) was named the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association Diver of the Week for the week ending Nov. 17. She won both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions on Saturday in a tri-meet with Alfred University and Canisius College.
In just her second collegiate meet, Costanza posted a score of 217.50 off the 1-meter board, 53 points better than the second place finisher. She also recorded a score of 218.30 in the 3-meter competition.
William Smith defeated Alfred 122-116 and topped Canisius 128-105. The Herons return to action at 7 p.m., on Nov. 20, when they host Wells College.
