GENEVA, N.Y. – William Smith College swimming and diving Head Coach Kelly Kisner has hired a new assistant. Shannon LeBeau, a 2002 graduate of William Smith, was a member of the swimming team for four years and an exemplary student-athlete. An Asian studies and economics double major, LeBeau replaces Sandy Baldwin ’01. Swimming competitively for 10 years, LeBeau will step into the coaching role with plenty of knowledge, as well as a passion for the sport.

William Smith’s top distance swimmer, LeBeau earned NYSWCAA academic accolades three consecutive years and UCAA All-Academic Team honors her sophomore and senior years. LeBeau’s dedication to the sport and the William Smith squad earned her the prestigious Heron Ring following her senior year.

LeBeau hails from Jamesville, N.Y. where she graduated from Jamesville DeWitt High School.
