Rauck earns weekly award

GENEVA, N.Y.—William Smith College sophomore tennis player Chelsea Rauck (Columbus School for Girls/Bexley, Ohio) was tabbed the Rochester Area College Athletics (RACA) Co-Female Athlete of the Week after her performance in the William Smith Invitational last weekend.
Rauck won the A Flight singles and doubles at the William Smith Invitational. The 11th-ranked singles player in the Northeast won three matches in straight sets, including a 6-2, 6-2 win over Ithaca’s Alyssa Jaffe in the final match. She teamed up with junior teammate Tara Ware (Avon/Avon, Conn.) to sweep the doubles title, winning 24 of 28 games.
The Herons swept all five titles in their home tournament, and closed out the season with a 9-7 mark.
