Rauck earns weekly award

GENEVA, N.Y.—William Smith College sophomore Chelsea Rauck (Columbus School for Girls/Bexley, Ohio) was tabbed the Liberty League Women’s Tennis Co-Performer of the Week this afternoon.
In her lone match last week, Rauck dispatched Ashley Balling of Brockport, 6-1, 6-0, at first singles. She also teamed with junior Tara Ware (Avon/Avon, Conn.) at first doubles, posting an 8-1 victory over Balling and Kayla Mizgala. Rauck is currently riding a three-match winning streak at No. 1 singles, and holds a team-best 18-4 record. She is 34-8 for her career.
The Herons will be in action again on April 18 when they travel to Geneseo for a match at 4 p.m.
