Herons drop match to Brewers

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.—The William Smith College tennis team suffered its second straight setback this afternoon, Vassar 9-0. The Herons are now 12-5 overall and 6-2 for the spring.

Sophomore Laura Maier (Lancaster Day School/Reading, Pa.) sports a team-best 14-4 overall record playing primarily at the number three spot. The Herons are back in action on April 22, when they travel to Cortland. The match is slated to begin at 4:30 p.m.
