CLINTON, N.Y.--The William Smith tennis team suffered its first defeat of the season, falling to UCAA rival Hamilton 5-4. The loss drops the Herons to 4-1, while the Continentals improve to 8-0.

William Smith returns to action at 4 p.m., on Oct. 9, when the Herons host the RIT Tigers at the HWS Tennis Center.
