Herons sting Naz in tennis, 7-2

GENEVA, N.Y.--The William Smith College tennis team improved to 5-0 this spring with a 7-2 victory over Nazareth College this afternoon in the Hobart and William Smith Sport and Recreation Center. The Herons are 11-3 overall following a 6-3 fall season.

Sophomore Molly Patterson (Mountain Lakes/Mountain Lakes, N.J.) improved her team-best singles record to 14-6 with a 7-6, 6-0 win at second singles over sophomore Andrea Gaddis.

William Smith returns to action at 4 p.m., on April 9, against the University of Rochester.
