William Smith tennis edges Rochester, 5-4

GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College tennis team earned its win streak to six matches with a 5-4 win over the University of Rochester this afternoon in Bristol Gym. The Herons are 12-3 overall and remain undefeated this spring.

Sophomore Laura Maier (Lancaster Day School/Reading, Pa.) upped her overall record to 14-2 and a perfect 6-0 at the third spot this spring. Senior Kelly Randall (Pittsford-Mendon/Pittsford, N.Y.) also earned her sixth straight victory of the spring in the sixth spot, pushing her to 14-5 overall.
